After over 270 fights, over 250 wins, seven world titles and an outstanding career of 23 years, Coban "The Cruncher" Lookchaomaesaitong successfully makes the transition from Legendary Muay Thai Fighter to trainer in Manhattan, New York.
He is the embodiment of determination as one of his students describes him. At the age of 11 Coban saw fighting as a means of survival, for him and his family during harsh economic times in Thailand. He trained 8 hours a day, and with no money for equipment he found it useful to build his training equipment from things like bags of fertilizer, silkworm, and old clothes. Today, his perseverance is intact. He has built a camp based on the principles of respect, courage and endurance in order to train people.
Coban spent countless hours building his ring, painting the walls and more. The effort with which he commits to his gym is also demonstrated in his classes. Not many Muay Thai students can say that they have learned from the very best in this field.
No experience is necessary to join. The camp is run all day, six days a week with classes for beginners, as well as for advanced students separately. It is a great cultural experience, and will keep your body toned and in shape!
